The Fifteenth ANQ AGM Successfully Concluded

Montreal, Saturday, November 24, 2018

ANQ successfully concluded its fifteenth Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 24th November 2018 from 10:00 - 13:00 at 1375 rue Grenet, Saint-Laurent. The AGM commenced with the welcome speech session followed by reports and feedback.

The ANQ President Yubaraj Bhandari welcomed the ANQ members and participants, expressed his deep gratitude to all the community members for their participation and involvement, and thanked all community artists, board members, volunteers, advisors, sponsors and all for their continued and generous support to ANQ. He humbly requested all community members to be involved and participate in future ANQ activities and underlined the fact that ANQ community is a model community in Canada.

ANQ Advisors Dr. Hemant Paudel, Prakash Mungratii and Pabitra Upadhaya encouraged ANQ executive team/volunteers and provided constructive feedback. The ANQ Secretary Rishi Shrestha presented the yearly report, including future plan. The detailed financial report for the fiscal year 2017-2018 was presented by ANQ Treasurer Prajwal Sainju.

Suggestions and feedback were welcomed during the open discussion session with participants to better manage events/programs, especially events/programs for children/teenagers and newcomers’ integration. The ANQ advisors and participants highlighted positive impacts of ANQ activities, a huge participation of community members in the events throughout the year and successful fundraising activities. ANQ managed a light breakfast and lunch to all the participants.

The AGM was a great success and we received a lot of positive and constructive feedback. ANQ would like to express deep gratitude to all the participants, volunteers, donors and all community members for their continued support.
