deusi bhailo 2024

To mark this year’s Deusi-Bhailo celebrations, the ANQ executive members and friends came together for a vibrant and meaningful event from November 1st to 3rd. The program was organized across four locations, spreading joy and cultural traditions throughout the community.

The first event took place on November 1st at the residence of Prakash Mungrati and Usha Mangrati, which covered a significant portion of the West Island-based families. The festivities continued on November 2nd, starting at the home of Mahendra Raj Karki and Shanti KC around 2:30 pm. This event saw participation from five Nepalese families from the South Shore, who gathered to enjoy cultural folk singing.

In the evening, the celebrations moved to Montreal East, where Mr. Pramish Gupta and Mrs. Rakhi Sing hosted a lively gathering, welcoming a large number of Nepalese families from the area. Finally, the program concluded on Sunday, November 3rd, at the residence of Gopal Prasad Kharel and Golma Aryal, with a focus on families residing in central Montreal. This event lasted for about three hours and concluded around 5 pm.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the hosts, members, and friends for their continuous support and encouragement. As this is a fundraising program for ANQ, we are pleased to announce that we successfully collected approximately $5500 CAD.

A special thank you goes out to all the hosts and generous participants for making this event such a success.
