With hearts full of joy and excitement, our community gathered to celebrate the arrival of the Nepali New Year 2082. Our community came together with joy and excitement to ring in Nepali New Year 2082. The evening kicked off at 6:15 PM with tasty snacks, where friends and families enjoyed lively chats. By 7:00 PM, the formal festivities began with national anthems and heartfelt speeches from President Deep Nandan Achhami and advisors, Mr. Hom Lamichhane and Mr. Man Bahadur Limbu, reminding us of our roots and shared aspirations. Lastly, Mr. Arjun Sharma also delivered a speech highlighting the significance of celebrating the Nepali New Year on Baishakh 1st.

At 7:45 PM, the real fun started with a cultural program that lit up the stage. This year, the kids were the stars, as they sparkled us with their bright smiles, energetic dances, and sweet songs. Their performances filled the hall with joy and pride, exposing the wonderful spirit of our new generation. It was an emotional experience for everyone to witness their talent and confidence.

Our community’s talented singers, dancers, and poets also shared their gifts with touching and vibrant performances. Each act added more color, more joy, and more meaning to the night. It felt like a true celebration of who we are — proud of our culture, hopeful for the future, and grateful for one another.

As the evening ended with a warm dinner, exciting raffles, and endless laughter, it was clear that we had created memories to treasure for years to come.
This New Year’s celebration was not just an event — it was a beautiful reminder of our unity, love, and hope.
