The Association of Nepalese in Quebec (ANQ) joyfully organized its annual Deusi Bhailo Program during the Tihar Festival 2082 (2025), continuing its cherished tradition of celebrating Nepali culture within the Quebec community. This year’s program saw record-breaking participation, with enthusiastic involvement from members across Montreal and Laval.

Each venue was filled with joy, laughter, and the vibrant spirit of Tihar. The melodies of Deusi-Bhailo songs, traditional dances, and heartfelt interactions brought together Nepali families and friends to celebrate light, unity, and prosperity.
This year’s program marked a new milestone for ANQ with very generous participation and overwhelming community support. A total of $4,300 (Montreal East: $815, West Island: $1,555, Laval and others: $1,930) CAD was collected through the event, demonstrating the unity and generosity of the Nepali community in Quebec. The ANQ extends its sincere gratitude to all hosts, participants, and well-wishers for their invaluable contributions and active participation. Events like these not only keep Nepali traditions alive but also strengthen the sense of community among Nepalis living in Quebec.
